A more noise driven approach to animation, rather than the staccato of my other work. Not quite generative and within a real-time playground, but harking back to sketchbooks and earlier pieces of street artists in the early 2000s. Applying Kadinsky’s principles that shapes and lines can be pleasing to view, but in a more fractured avant-garde aesthetic. It’s a  playground for meditative approaches to the hard edged and cutting commentary associated with graffiti and street art. A canvas to be explored as decoration and happy chance of fractured shapes, colours and light effects and a reaction to the often interactive digital art now shown and projected in immersive spaces and the social media feed of software driven processes, often involving particles, glitches or some trend of software opened up with advances in GPU or software accessibility.
