Do you hear, can you feel? A pure homage to early Underworld and the graphic expressionism of Tomato design studios. An interpretation of the music video and text driven synchronistic properties of the lyrics set against the rhythm pounding and textural strokes. Finding light and space amongst the growing intensity of the song and the changes within it’s beat and bass structure. A maybe not as first seen, generative visual to music piece, but something that exists of itself, and it’s non-repetitive nature of the process I use to layer the staccato-esque marks. Trying to find the definitive graphic and not so much a clean interpretation of the music, exploring the textural canvas as an accompaniment, and a piece by itself.
